Classic 40's pinups are amazing works of pop art. I've always loved the bright, bold colors. I was asked to create some 'Kentucky' pinups and though I'd never worked in this style before, I was ready for the challenge. I did a lot of research and a lot of tinkering, creating a few custom brushes. Each of these were built from sketch up in Photoshop, painted with little to no photo reference.
